Taxi travel in Tura
Licenced taxis are readily available in downtown. It’s not possible to hail them on the street, since the taxis do not have taxi name-plate. You can pick one up at the taxi ranks in the towns. A taxi costs around Rs. 2000 during the day.

Out on the town
From a day of sightseeing or shopping in Tura, head to one of the streams for a day to remember. You can go on a picnic, fishing or swimming. Tura has more than enough to keep you happy and busy!

Swimming Pool
Currently there are two outdoor swimming areas in and around Tura, perfect places to strip off and cool off with a quick summer dip!

Gandhi Park: It is a place where you can spend some great time with friends or families during free days.

Rs. 200 /- for grown ups, and Rs. 20 /- for children.

There is another one near Durama College.

There are two well furnished hotels in Tura.
